Marissa Duff began dancing at the early age of 4 years old at Susie's Academy of Dance & Baton in her hometown of Greenwood, SC. She graduated from Johnson C. Smith University with a BA in both Dance and Communication Arts and as the Valedictorian of her 2017 graduating class. She was an award-winning competitive dancer for 12 years earning recognitions from various competitions and renown judges. She has performed in many concerts and for several events such as the Charlotte Dance Festival, Charlotte Music Festival, US Army, and more. She has studied under and taken classes from many artists and choreographers. She has been teaching dance for 8 years at several studios in various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop and tap. She also served as the coach of the Olympic High School Dance Team for 4 years and the artistic director of the JCSU Community Dance Program for 3 years. Along with directing iDance PAC, she currently is the secondary dance teacher at Ridge Road Middle School in Charlotte, NC.
